De Cecco n. 44 Galletti

Fantasy shape that is the same as that of Chifferi Rigati but with the addition of a ribbed line along the top edge resembling a rooster’s crest. Galletti means roosters in Italian.

The opening at two ends and the distinctive ridges make this pasta perfect for pairing with less dense, more liquid sauces, all of which are caught in it.

Galletti go well with a simple tomato sauce, but are also delicious with beef, pork or vegetable sauces.

Cooking time: 10 minutes / al dente: 8 minutes
