The origins of gnocchi (pronounced nyoh-kee) date back to the 16th century, when potatoes were first imported from the Americas.
Try Gnocchi alla Sorrentina, prepared with tomato, mozzarella, and fresh basil.

Cooking instructions:
Add the gnocchi to a pot of boiling salted water (5 liters per 500 g). Drain as soon as they float to the surface and season to taste. Cooking time: 2 minutes.

Store in a cool, dry place.
